What sort of activities do you and your partner most enjoy?
Published 1 year, 8 months ago in My life.
I spent this Saturday night with my boyfriend selecting tracks off ’youtube’ on the laptop, sitting on the bed, drinking a few cans of double black, eating a gourmet pizza and having a relaxing yet entertaining evening.
We had an extremely enjoyable night together, in a very simple way. Can you tell we don’t get enough time together?!

When I had a boyfriend the things I enjoyed most were night walks and wandering around the city… it’s always fun to have a “big” day together, e.g. going to something expensive, but the simple things you can do together are just as good
On the down side, if ALL you do is watch DVDs and stuff on the internet together (as a couple I know do), then after a while it isn’t so fun…
Some of the things we love doing are…
(we’re very very competitive…lol)
- Going to the Queen Vic Market on a Sunday morning
- Going to The Pavillion (little bar/cafe/restaurant) on Doncaster Rd for a drink, a brownie and a chat
- Ordering in a pizza and a dvd and relaxing
- Playing basketball - just shooting around or actually competing against each other
- Monopoly or Uno
- Boring but simple - dinner and a movie! It’s cliche but it’s still a great date!
I couldn’t possibly tell you and hope to get past the site censors. Suffice to say it involves honey, some very sharp knives, silk, feathers and candles (oh, and it goes without saying, some very fine wine). As the Melbourne ad says, let you imagination guide you !
Dunno about anyone else but sounds to me like Dr Fell’s idea of a good time is some sort of fancy “coq au vin”.
LOL, granpa!
As for shared experiences, I love cooking dinner with my beau: darting around each other in the kitchen, snapping off the end of a carrot to feed to her, stirring something she started, stealing bits of food from the pan; then sitting down to eat together that which we have prepared. Bliss.
Dr Fell is a fantasy…
